Patreon Helpdesk
Hey Patrons! The general consensus on the work server is that we all agree an IJ-based help area for Patreon-specific codes and layouts would be beneficial to all of us. As I've mentioned a few times in the past, Patreon's notifications are elusive at best, and I miss a lot of comments and emails due to notification emails going to the wrong folders (and sometimes not being sent at all.)

Icon Display Generator
And now we have... another tool I've been wanting to put together. Introducing: Icon Display Generator. 🎉🎉🎉 For this one, I wanted a simple, straightforward user experience that requires as little work as possible on your end. There are no tables to fight with, two title fields with color options, and alternate icons-per-row options. Just add your text, paste your image URLs one per line, and generate!
If there are any new options you'd like to see in this generator let me know!

Another thing I've been meaning to put together for ages now, introducing: The Tinyicon Generator. 🎉🎉🎉
This generator is compatible with Insanejournal, Dreamwidth, and Livejournal. I loved and frequently used Malionette's tinyicon generator back when I was first starting out, and I was really sad when it went offline a few years ago, so I've finally made a successor!

Oh MAN have I been wanting to do this for a while. It's not quite Subtle Patterns, but we'll get there! I eventually want to make a CSS generator for background patterns too, but for now: The Pattern Directory. A collection of seamless background images! 🎉🎉🎉
All patterns are free to use and edit for personal use in your web and graphic design projects. Attribution and backlinks are appreciated, but not required. Feel free to submit your own seamless patterns and I'll be sure to add them to the directory!

sanity is now available on Firefox!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Get it right here.
I also want to take a moment to apologize for how long this took to get onto their addons. I had a weird anxiety when it came to doing the edits it needed to work on Firefox, and the worst part is the edits were really not all that intensive, but I would just hit this... mental roadblock and I just couldn't get myself to get past the overwhelming need to pretend it didn't exist and get done what needed doing.
Anxiety be like that sometimes I guess; totally random and without sense or reason. I'm sure a lot of you get that feeling, but an apology is still needed. Between that and the house etc., this got done so much later than I'd ever intended. Maybe now the crippling guilt will go away LMAO.
We're here now though, and both versions will be updated together anytime I run Sanity updates. Love you guys, and I hope it was worth the stupid long wait! ♥

Sanity is now FREE! Thank you guys so much for helping me reach the goal to make this happen. I'll be adding some needed updates to the Chrome version this month (June 2019), and then I'll add them to the Firefox version and put it up in their extensions! You can install it on Chrome here, and read more about this project at
sanity!UPDATE #1 Round one of updates will be live as soon as Chrome finishes processing the new version, so be sure to update your extensions if Chrome doesn't automatically prompt you! View the full list of repairs, additions, and a new feature!
UPDATE #2 Minor update to the extension (seriously so teeny lmao.) Also, see this thread for troubleshooting ideas if you've installed the extension and it isn't taking effect.

INTRODUCING... SANITY
From an updated look to repaired and completely new site features, Sanity's ultimate goal is to give users the things they need. It's 2018, and the internet is a very different place than it was ten—or even five!—years ago. The evolution of the internet means sites need to evolve with it or get left in the dust.Unfortunately (but understandably), a lot of the tools we love to use for our journaling sites have long since been abandoned, so I decided to create an extension with the hopes of breathing new life into Insanejournal, both in appearance and function.
Whether you're a roleplayer, a personal blogger, or you post fanfiction or resources, Sanity's here to help make your experience better. Sanity doesn't focus on one type of site user so much as all of us! While the majority of us are here to roleplay and/or create related resources for the hobby, all the tools I've integrated into the Sanity extension are here to fit any need!
