001: Informative Info
Okay, so the concept here is super self-explanatory and, I know I know, I'm not being very original, but the concept was neat so I rolled with it. Hover the icons and shit. :3 |
002: The Base Code
Paste the following into Draac, then move on to step two.
Replace YOUR JOURNAL URL, JOURNAL TITLE, YOUR USERPIC, and journalname. |
003: The Thread Code
Paste the thread code into a NEW Draac tab, and use one copy of it for each thread. Once you're done making them, select all and replace ALL THREAD CODES HERE. in the first Draac tab with the code. Donesies!
Replace THREAD URL with the thread post URL. Replace Thread Title Goes Here with the thread title. Replace THREAD SUMMARY/EXCERPT HERE. with the thread summary or an excerpt from the first post; w/e w/e. Replace GAME URL, GAME NAME, and GAME USERPIC with, uh, the URL, name and userpic. Replace YOUR URL, YOUR CHARNAME, and YOUR CHAR USERPIC with... you get it. Replace FRIEND URL, FRIEND CHARNAME, and FRIEND CHAR USERPIC; copy and paste as needed for group threads. Replace ADD COMMENT URL with the link to add a new comment to the thread. This is good for slowly updated threads, too, where you can add the link to respond to your partner's most recent post for ease of access. Replace x/x/xx with the date. |
004: Customizing
If you like the Facebook look I don't recommend changing anything, but if you'd rather it not look like FB, here you go!http://i.imgur.com/Jmj7y.png to replace the "threadtracker" title with your own image title. TAHOMA for the text. #3B5998 for title background and thread title. #133783 for title bottom border. #D8DFEA for title journalname. #294A8F for title userpic border. #ECEEF4 for thread entry background. #D1D8E7 for thread entry border. #333 for bulk text color. #999 for middots and date color; also for credit footer. #3B5998 for like and comment color. |
005: Rules and Shit
→Leave my credit.→Do not redistribute in part or in whole. →If you break something during editing don't be scared to ask me to see what happened. Yep. That's a rule. →If you're a maker like I am and you do something cool with this I'd really like to see it, but it's not necessary. →LJ-RAW means ya gotta BR them line breaks! →Probably should be behind a cut, js js. |
